Diecast Rolls-Royce


Since 1906 Rolls-Royce has been building luxury cars in the UK. Early on Rolls-Royce developed a favorable reputation with the introduction of the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost in 1906.  Over the years many ownership changes have taken place and today, Rolls-Royce is owned by BMW.

Throughout it's long history, Rolls-Royce was always know for building exceptional luxury cars.  The Rolls-Royce Phantom was once such car which was first introduced in 1925 which replaced the Silver Ghost.  Throughout the years the Phantom name has been used on various models and is once again in use today.  The current Rolls-Royce Phantom was unveiled in 2003.  This Phantom included every option that one would expect in a car selling for over $300,000.  From 2003 to 2007, almost 4000 Rolls-Royce Phantoms were sold throughout the world.  The car was available in a 2 door drophead coupe or convertible as well as a 4 door saloon.  The car produces a whopping 453hp from it's V12 engine.

Other models names that have been used over the years in various models include the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, Silver Wraith, Silver Shadow, Silver Spur, Silver Spirit and Corniche.  For many years Rolls-Royce was the maker of Bentley cars, but the Bentley name was sold to Volkswagen in recent years.
