Diecast McLaren F1

McLaren automotive was founded in 1989 with the goal of producing high performance road cars, based on Forumula One technology. The company works with Team McLaren, a Formula One racing team and both are part of the McLaren Group.
The company produced its first car, the McLaren F1 in 1992 and until 1998 it was the fastest production car in the world.  The mid-engine McLaren F1 features a 6.1L V12 engine and 6 speed manual transmission and puts out 627hp.  The car is blazing fast and get do 0.60mph is just 3.2 seconds!

During it's six years of production, 106 McLaren F1's were built, including 54 built specifically for the road and several other versions for racing.  The McLaren F1 LM was a racing variation of which only 5 were built.  With it's weight reduced and power increased to 680hp, the car had a top speed of 225mph.
